My Bio
Branden is a 27-year-old working-class father of two girls. He has a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and has worked in the healthcare field for 3 years battling insurance companies to pay for your care. He has experience connecting the unhoused with housing resources at Catholic Charities, providing group counseling at Tampa Crossroads, assisting at-risk youth through The Department of Child Services, and helped students achieve academic success with Flagler Education Foundation. Branden is unowned by political parties, figureheads, and corporate interests. He hopes to be the change we were promised by previous administrations. Join him and give a voice to the voiceless.
My Key Issues
Government Reform
All political offices need strict term limits. Someone serving a decade long appointment will lose touch with the base as they are not living the conditions in which they create. We should continue to engage, build, and platform the next generation of thinkers. Congress needs to be expanded to meet the growing population and create equal representation. We have had 435 representatives for the last 100 years. Campaign Finance law needs to be reworked to prevent unlimited corporate spending.
Invest in local public education
We have shifted our focus to develop Charter and other 3rd party school systems over public education. We must invest more into our public system to ensure all children have the opportunity at a quality education, without having to be placed on a waitlist.
Quality of Life
Cost of living has skyrocketed and continues to rise. We need to change fundamentals rather than only addressing the symptoms. This includes expanding Medicaid/ Medicare, ending corporate welfare, and address the housing crisis.
